I read the 1st Fred: Buffalo Building of Dreams, and it was an enjoyable read. I was not expecting a sequel. When Fred II came out I had to read it. Reading it was such a delight that It was even more captivating than the first book. The lives of the people that were written about, were so heart wrenching at times that I was bought to tears and/or laughter. Sister Grace and Father Bevins relationship was surprising, selfish, and horrific. Huggs was special and many of us know of someone with his character. This book was so well written, it was hard for me to put down. It reminded me that people are people no matter where we come from or language we speak, we each have a story. I finished this book it in a couple of days and longed for more. Hats off to this writer.
