FRED II Timeless Tenant Tales: Buffalo West Side Stories

Novel Synopsis

FRED II Timeless Tenant Tales: Buffalo West Side Stories picks up where FRED I left off. The time is that of World War II, which began in 1941. The tales take place in the 1930’s and 1940’s on Buffalo’s West Side. The Tales focus on the hopes, the dreams and the tragedies of specific families who occupied the building during that time. In short, the tales are more fully developed and dramatized, bringing the characters to life in a way that makes it easier for the reader to identify with. FRED II is a natural follow-up to FRED: Buffalo Building of Dreams which deals with the lives of mostly immigrant families who emigrated primarily from European countries and inhabited the building in the early years of the Twentieth Century. The book is primarily an historic recreation of the people and circumstances of those who began their new lives in America. The book focuses on the harsh reality of the times and the people who struggled to find their place in their new land. While displaying fictional elements, Fred is more informative regarding Fred’s origin and the people involved.
